DO THIS FIRST

1. Make a directory: /quake3/hh3
2. unzip hh3-general.zip into that directory.
3. move the other .pk3 that you downloaded also into that directory.
4. start Q3 and choose HeadHunters III from the Mods menu.

Before you download HeadHunters...

... make sure you're running Quake 3 1.29 or later.

Contains the minimum amount of files you will need to play HH3. Contains code, new powerup media and new weapon media. Absolute minimum to get playing quickly. If don't mind playing bots and maps from the original game, get this file.

The Big File (~70mb)

Contains code, powerup media, new weapon media, 5 new player models with multiple skins and new sounds, and 11 original HH3 maps using new textures. The full experience. You only need this file and the patch, not "the small file."

The Patch (<1mb)

Fixes a crash with dedicated servers. Get it and overwrite current files with it.
