GenSurf is a surface generator for Quake 2 and Quake 3-engine game maps (currently supporting Quake2, Half-Life, SiN, Heretic2, KingPin, and Quake 3 Arena). You can download GenSurf 1.9 in a variety of flavors from the downloads page. NOTE: GenSurf produces ASCII map files for games using the Quake2 and Quake3 engines. It does not produce a compiled, ready-to-play, bsp file that can be loaded directly by the game. To produce playable bsp files requires that the map be compiled with the appropriate tools. For more information on producing maps for Quake 2 and Quake 3 or derivative games, visit Rust .
